In-Home Euthanasia
Our veterinarian will visit your home to provide a peaceful and compassionate goodbye for your beloved pet. In the comfort of familiar surroundings, your pet will receive a relaxing, pain-relieving sedative to ensure they are completely at ease. Once your pet is calm and comfortable, a second medication will be administered, allowing them to pass away peacefully and without pain. If desired, service includes a complimentary clay pawprint and a lock of your pet's fur.

​While our veterinarian typically provides this service for dogs and cats, if you have another type of small pet, please reach out to see if we may be of assistance.

Cancellation Policy:
At Kindred Journey Veterinary End-of-Life Care, we understand how difficult it can be to make end-of-life decisions for your beloved pet. We are here to support you, including if you need to change your mind about an appointment. However, to ensure we can continue to serve all of our clients with the compassion and care they deserve, we kindly ask for your understanding of our cancellation policy:

24-Hour Notice Requested: We kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, so we may offer your appointment time to another family in need.​

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled appointment time will incur a fee of $100. If your pet passes naturally during the cancellation window, the late cancellation fee will be waived.

Late Reschedules:​ If you reschedule within 2 hours of your scheduled appointment time more than three times, a non-refundable deposit of $100 will be required to secure the new appointment time. If the appointment occurs, this deposit will be applied toward your total balance.

No-Shows: If we arrive for your scheduled appointment and you are not home, do not answer the door, or are otherwise not prepared to proceed with the scheduled appointment, the fee will be 50% of the appointment cost, based on the distance and time involved to travel to you.

Credit Card Hold: A credit card will be required to secure your appointment. Your card will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation, no-show, or multiple late reschedules, as described above.
